Inflammasomes are multiprotein complexes whose activity has been implicated in physiological and pathological inflammation. The hallmarks of inflammasome activation are the secretion of the mature forms of caspase-1 and interleukin-1β (IL-1β ) from cells of the innate immune system. Inflammasome activity has been causally linked to the induction of numerous inflammatory responses in diseases such as cancer and in the development of metabolic diseases.

AdipoGen Life Sciences offers a range of products for use in inflammasome and inflammation research, including antibodies, ELISA kits, inhibitors, activators and proteins. These products are effective research tools to quantitatively evaluate inflammasome activation via immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, ELISA analysis and immune response priming.
