IKA HB 10 digital heating bath

The IKA heating bath HB 10 digital is suitable as a water- or oil-heating bath for the tempering of liquids. It has a heating power of 1350 W, offers protection against dry running and is made from recyclable materials.

The digital display featured on the bath offers the user ease of operation. Three selectable operating modes allow for: clear regulation of all parameters; a fixable safety temperature setting to avoid unintentional readjustments; fixable set and safety temperatures. Additionally, the temperature control can be adjusted with a micro controller.

The product is particularly suitable for use with IKA’s rotary evaporator RV 10. Here, the optimised bath shape is adapted to the evaporator flask’s geometry, allowing for quicker heating periods than with conventional products. With the help of an infrared interface, the bath can communicate with the rotary evaporator RV 10 digital and control.

The bath contains several safety features which are checked each time it is switched on. The baths are equipped with a double jacket and carrying handles for protection against burns. A safety temperature monitor keeps the bath from overheating and, in case of errors, an adjustable safety circuit switches the bath off permanently. If there is no more heating medium left in the bath, the circuit prevents further heating.

Available accessories include a shield and a protective cover.
