Denator Stabilizor heat stabilisation technology for sample preservation

Denator has developed an additive-free heat stabilisation technology that permanently preserves the quality of biological samples. Biomarkers, peptides and post-translational modifications such as phosphorylated and acetylated proteins are preserved as close to their in vivo state as possible throughout the entire workflow.

The Stabilizor stabilisation technology utilises rapid conductive heating to generate a fast, homogenous thermal denaturation of proteins that stops biological change immediately and permanently. This results in complete inactivation of enzymes (such as proteases, peptidases, phosphatases) that would otherwise cause further changes to the sample ex vivo.

The intuitive system has a fully automated procedure that ensures consistent and reproducible treatment of samples. The algorithms use details of the physical state (fresh or frozen) and sample size (measured automatically by laser technology) to determine the exact amount of energy required for complete denaturation.
