The Science of Life and Death: Sex in Melbourne 2016
26 July, 2016 - 26 July, 2016
The second event in our ‘life & death’ series looks at the seductive world of sex — from the genes that determine the kind of sex we like, to new approaches in contraception, and how our relationship with sexually transmitted infections is changing.
The Australian Academy of Science is bringing experts together to debunk some myths and share some cutting-edge research on a topic that can be controversial and intriguing. Presented by sex geneticist Professor Jenny Graves, contraception researcher Associate Professor Eva Dimitriadis and the director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University Professor Jayne Lucke.
