The Setaram Evo range of thermal analysers has been designed to add new features to respond to user requests for greater applications flexibility. Setaram and AKTS jointly developed the Calisto Operating Software.
The DSC131 Evo is simple to operate, has a temperature range of -170 to 700°C, depending on cooling accessories selected, and a large range of crucibles, including some suitable for high pressure use.
Labsys Evo operates in TGA with simultaneous DTA and/or DSC and now features Cp measurement from ambient to 1600°C. All detectors are plug-and-play. The system features evolved gas uptake from Hot Zone for trouble-free coupling to FTIR and MS. An optional gas control panel allows users to select and mix up to three gases.
The Micro DSC3 Evo is a high sensitivity 1 µW calorimeter which is claimed will outperform traditional DSCs by a factor of 10. Its design is based on a three-dimensional detector. The temperature range is -20 to 120°C and a large range of vessels to suit pharmaceuticals, life science and food applications is available.
The Sensys Evo DSC and TG/DSC feature thermal analysis based on the Calvet, three-dimensional detector with a temperature range from -120 to 830°C. The symmetrical dual furnace for TGA analysis eliminates buoyancy effects and provides a good signal baseline. HP 500 bar operation in DSC mode and variable pressure control are also possible with suitable accessories.
