Lomb Scientific Tygon Laboratory Tubing

Monday, 11 January, 2010 | Supplied by: Lomb Scientific (Aust) Pty Ltd

Tygon Laboratory Tubing handles most inorganic chemicals in laboratories and is claimed to be the most consistently reliable tubing for the transfer of liquids and gases.

Non-oxidising, non-contaminating, long-lasting and crack-resistant, the tubing is specially formulated to resist flex fatigue and abrasion and is less permeable than rubber tubing.

It features heavy walls that are claimed to withstand a full vacuum at room temperature (759 mm of mercury at 23°C and up to 686 mm of mercury at 60°C). Coils are marked at 1-foot intervals for easy measuring.

A full range of additional grades of Tygon tubing is also available.
