AAPPTec’s product range includes chemicals for peptide synthesis, synthesisers, peptides and peptide services, lyophilisers and concentrators, chromatography and custom peptides and chemicals.

Chemicals available for peptide synthesis include: resins and preloaded resins; Fmoc-amino acids; boc-amino acids; unusual amino acids and pseudoproline dipeptides.

The company’s synthesisers include peptide, organic, research and production scale and the Model 400 mini-pilot plant.

The peptide synthesisers include: Apex 396-unsurpassed multiple peptide synthesiser capable of preparing up to 96 different peptides simultaneously, suitable for preparing peptide libraries for epitope mapping/structure-activity studies and lead optimisation studies. Additionally, the Focus XC-benchtop batch peptide synthesiser with heating and sonication is suitable for the preparation of long or difficult peptides otherwise impossible to produce on conventional peptide synthesisers.

Organic Synthesisers include the Vantage fully automated solid-phase synthesiser for small molecules; and a solution-automated solution-phase synthesiser capable of performing liquid-liquid extractions.

Research and production-scale synthesisers include the Endeavor 90 Series - compact, small-scale and scale-up instruments for preparation of peptides in multimilligram to multigram quantities.

The Model 400 Mini-Pilot Plant is available in multiple configurations suitable for small- (20-100 g resin-peptide), medium- (100-3000 g resin-peptide) and large-scale (>3000 g of resin-peptide) production. It is suitable for the production of peptides for Phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials.

Peptides and peptide services include: over 2000 high-quality peptides available; and design and synthesis of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, labelled antibodies and antibody purification and identification.

Lyophilisers and concentrators available include the SharpFreeze freeze dryer range for benchtop to production scale use.

Available evaporators include: SharpVac that can accommodate vials, test tubes, Eppendorf tubes and titre plates; and the ACTEvap versatile unit that can be used for lyophilisation or evaporation of multiple samples simultaneously.

Chromatography available includes Spirit HPLC columns optimised for separating small organic molecules, peptides and proteins.

The company can also custom synthesise unusual amino acids, amino acid derivatives and peptides.
