The Ozone benchtop work centres are designed to remove toxic and unpleasant fumes, dusts and gases at the source before they enter the operator's breathing zone. They are suitable for use in applications where laboratory staff sit at laboratory benches carrying out preparation and/or experiments.
The air cleaners are suitable for use when users weigh toxic chemicals on a microbalance away from a fume hood, or prepare HPLC solvents or do sample preparation or extractions using toxic solvents. Often existing fume hoods are crowded or hard to access. For these and many more applications it is possible that the Ozone benchtop hoods and extraction nozzles coupled to under the bench air cleaners may provide a solution.
