Bandelin Sonorex Super RK ultrasonic baths

The Bandelin range of ultrasonic baths offers users an intense, thorough equipment clean. The company’s ultrasonic cleaners feature PZT transducers for maximum cleaning power operating at 35 kHz.

The RK range of ultrasonic cleaners features a PZT large oscillating system with a timer for 1-15 min of cleaning and is able to be used for continuous operation. Products listed with the ‘H’ feature offer built-in heating which is thermostatically adjustable from 30-80°C. Ultrasonic baths without H have a set temperature of 65°C.

Ultrasonic cleaners are suitable for cleaning a large variety of lab instruments and labware, providing a high standard of cleaning. Ultrasonic waves vibrate dirt and small particles of matter off the instruments, which are then released into the water.

Using an ultrasonic cleaner only requires a mains connection and a sturdy benchtop, so there is no plumbing necessary. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to using chemicals and detergents commonly found with dishwashers or other lab cleaning methods.

The ultrasonic baths include a drainage port for easy and safe emptying, reducing the risk of cross-contamination or spillage. The baths are available in sizes ranging from 0.9 to 90 L. A large range of accessories including lids, baskets, clips, bottle holders and flask holders is also available.
