Esco has released an intuitive CO2 incubator, claimed to be suitable for virtually all cell culture applications. The CelCulture series features robust contamination control with active ULPA filtration and a 90°C moist heat decon cycle.

All exterior surfaces have an antimicrobial treatment in the paint. Precise temperature control is achieved with eight heaters grouped into three zones, giving the series good temperature uniformity.

The product is available in in three sizes (50,170 and 240 L) with either robust dual wavelength IR sensor or CD sensor. Other features include fast CO2 recovery with no overshoot and an intelligent data and event logger with built-in 16 MB flash memory.
