The Universal Testing Machine is a specialised testing machine that is designed with twin testing capabilities — compression testing in the inner frame and tensile testing on the outer frame of the machine.

This design reduces operator fatigue and production downtime by eliminating the need to change between compression platens and grips for different testing requirements. Different-sized compression platens and tensile grips can be fitted to the instrument to allow a vast array of tests to be undertaken.

The Universal Testing Machine is operated via PC, using the Universal Testing Software. All test parameters are entered into the software program, and then once the program is initiated, the test will run as per the software script.
