TA Instruments Affinity ITC for label-free binding analysis
The Affinity ITC, from TA Instruments, is an isothermal power compensation instrument that provides optimal enthalpy measurement with advanced active heating and cooling temperature control.
The product is a powerful tool for measuring binding affinity, binding stoichiometry and binding thermodynamics of proteins and other biomolecules in a single experiment. Applications range from drug design to basic research in order to understand the basic chemical and thermodynamic details of interacting molecules of biological significance. Affinity ITC experiments are a label-free, direct measurement of binding, in solution, under native conditions.
The device features two fixed-in-place calorimetric cells: a sample cell where injections take place and a matching reference cell. Two cell volumes are available: 1 mL (standard volume) and 190 µL (low volume). Automation is available in either configuration.
