Variable hypoxia workstation

Monday, 01 December, 2008 | Supplied by: Don Whitley Scientific Australia

The Hypoxystation is designed for research requiring strictly maintained normoxic, hypoxic and anoxic conditions and is suitable for accurately controlling oxygen, CO2, temperature and humidity.

The system can control O2 levels in 0.1% increments from 0.1 to 20% and CO2 in 0.1% increments from 0.1 to 15%. Precise temperature control establishes and maintains the conditions required throughout the chamber. Relative humidity levels can be controlled up to 90%.

Gas mixing is achieved via a fully integrated control system to rapidly create the selected environmental conditions. The integrated gas control minimises bench space requirements.

Other features include: an 865 x 424 x 400 mm incubation area; a touch-screen interface which monitors all parameters simultaneously; and ergonomic gloveports, allowing for gloved or bare hand working.
