Eiffel hires ex-PowderJect manager as COO

Drug reengineering company Eiffel Technologies (ASX:EIF) has recruited former PowderJect technologies manager Dr Pascal Hickey as chief operating officer.
Hickey, who will be based at Eiffel's Sydney facilities, will be responsible for the company's R&D programs.
In a statement, Eiffel CEO Christine Cussen said Hickey's experience in pharmaceutical R&D would help the company further develop its technology. Hickey played a key role in the transition of PowderJect (now part of Chiron Corporation) from a small spin-off company from Oxford University to a mature and profitable company with 1500 employees, she said.
