Jasco V-730 UV-VIS Spectrophotometer

The V-730 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer from Jasco is a general-purpose instrument suitable for routine, QC and research applications. It features a rugged and compact design, good optical performance (190 to 1100 nm), high-speed scanning (up to 8000 nm/min) and a wide range of sampling accessories.

The choice of two intuitive interfaces allows even first-time users to collect data with confidence. The system is operated using either a PC with Spectra Manager II software or via an intelligent Remote Module (iRM), with a wide colour LCD touch screen which has built-in application programs. The data can be saved to a USB for further processing on a PC.

Features for simplicity and ease of use include the IQ Accessory function for automatic accessory recognition and IQ Start for immediate start of registered data collection applications when conducting routine measurements. The Jasco V-730Bio model has built-in bioanalytical application programs, including protein/nucleic acid measurement; temperature ramping/DNA melting analysis; kinetics measurement/analysis; and a quantitative protein analysis program with six different calibration methods installed.

A full complement of sampling accessories, including automatic cell changers and temperature control systems, is available to optimise the product for specific applications.
