AMT offers a complete line of digital imaging capabilities from 2.8 to 16 MP formats. All systems provide sharp images with high dynamic range and low noise. The systems have modular designs that provide ease of use.
High-performance optics with specially designed finite-conjugate lenses are used in all systems. The use of high-resolution RES phosphors means minimised electron scattering effects and high sensitivity.
AMT recently released the BioSprint series cameras for TEM applications. The cameras are available in both 12 and 16 MP scientific CCD and provide high-speed readout, an anti-blooming sensor and a high-performance lens.
Utilising the company’s corrected ActiveVu lens, the system achieves high sensitivity and resolution. The system delivers enough information that users may digitally enlarge their images without the worry of pixelation, saving both imaging and analysis time.
The product is available in most TEM mounting configurations, with mid-mount position being particularly popular. The camera system is a suitable choice for clinical pathology and other applications requiring magnifications lower than 50 kx and is also capable of lattice imaging at high magnifications.
