AB SCIEX iMethod Tests for Cliquid Software

Tuesday, 10 April, 2012 | Supplied by: AB Sciex Australia Pty Ltd

iMethod Tests for Cliquid Software can be used with LC/MS/MS for food safety testing, environmental analysis, clinical research and forensic toxicology.

With the tests, users download a method from the web or a CD into the Cliquid software and run their sample. All the instrument parameters are downloaded upon install. Everything needed to start running a test immediately is included - sample preparation, LC methods, optimised MS methods, processing methods, reporting templates and complete method documentation.

iMethod tests not only provide instant methods to reduce the need for method development, they also enable users to create new or customise existing methods using the MRM catalogue, reducing development costs and development time from months to days.

Cliquid software allows users to choose a test, build a sample list, choose a report and start the run with a simple four-step workflow. Even laboratories without mass spectrometry experience can be up and running quickly.

iMethod tests available include: for clinical research - to test to identify and quantify immunosuppressants, vitamin D, amino acids and many other analytes; for environmental - to test for pharmaceuticals, pesticides, algal toxins and other environmental contaminants; for forensics - to screen and quantitate drugs of abuse; for food and beverage - to test for pesticides, mycotoxins, veterinary drug residues and other regulated chemical contaminants.
