The TEI 5805 II air analyser is a portable organic vapour meter with photo ionisation detection for broad spectrum gas detection and measurement. It can measure a wide variety of chemicals: process equipment leak detection; leaking underground storage tanks; head space measurement; and detection of contaminated soil and water.
Applications for the unit include chemical incidence response, spill response; emergency response; arson and drug laboratory investigation; enviro-nmental applications, surveys, fugitive emissions program; and industrial hygiene monitoring.
The air analyser does not require support gases and can operate for 8 h from a fully charged battery. The simultaneous real-time measurement displays value of peak at the press of the button without switching mode and methane interference is eliminated. The unit features a minimum detectable reading of 0.1 ppm and operating range 0-25,000 ppm.
EZ Connect software allows download of data with the click of a button, offering complete data logging and report writing capability. The analyser is rated for hazardous environments with visible and audible alarms when over the limit with user definable peak and STEL levels. PID is a non-destructive detector, the sample can be collected for further analysis as it exits the instrument.
