Applied Photophysics Chirascan CD spectrometer
Applied Photophysics offers high-performance modern spectrometers for the study of structural, thermodynamic and kinetic properties of a wide range of samples, with particular focus on proteins and other bio-macromolecules.
The Chirascan, for use in circular dichroism, uses next-generation, dual-polarising prism monochromator technology. It offers good CD quality and simultaneous absorbance and optional fluorescence detected circular dichroism.
Features include: high light throughput giving good signal-to-noise ratio; CD, absorbance and FDCD; temperature profiling of proteins at multiple wavelengths in a single experiment; sealed compartments for low nitrogen usage.
