Automated solid phase extraction system and sample injector

The new HT400E is a fully automatic solid phase extraction system and HPLC autosampler for unattended sample preparation and HPLC analysis, with exceptional accuracy and reproducibility.

The system is able to sequentially process up to 29 SPE tubes of 1 or 3 mL capacity. It offers multiple options for cartridge conditioning, sample loading, washing, drying, elution, dilution, derivatisation and injection, and has unlimited sample processing steps available.

The control software allows easy set-up of the sample processing sequence and multiple methods can be stored and modified at any time. The flexibility of the software allows almost any methodology to be created.

Applications: There are many applications for automated SPE. A number of which have already been run on the system including:

  • Amino acids in CSF, plasma and urine
  • Benzodiazepines in serum/plasma
  • Catecholamines in urine: method 1 and method 2
  • Crosslink (pyridinoline and deoxypyridinoline) in urine
  • Metanephrines in urine
  • Tricyclic antidepressant drugs
  • t-t-muconid acid in urine
  • VMA, 5-HIAA, HVA in urine: method 1 and method 2
