The Safe Imager 2.0 Blue Light Transilluminator is claimed to eliminate safety concerns and minimise damage to samples.

Together with SYBR Safe, the system offers complete safety solution for detection of DNA in Agarose electrophoresis.

Safe Imager 2.0 is optimised for excitation of SYBR and other fluorescent dyes. The electrical power cord plugs externally into a wall socket or connects internally within gel documentation systems. The system is claimed to produce brighter light and more uniform emission than conventional blue light sources.
