Chromatography automation kits

ÄKTApurifier systems have been designed for versatile, high-performance FPLC purification of proteins and peptides. There are four different core systems with essential functions for FPLC purification. The core systems have different sets of pumps and detectors. These core systems can be combined with ÄKTAdesign automation kits to provide customised solutions to specific needs.

The Buffer Selection Kit allows scientists to automate necessary but time-consuming processes such as buffer/reagent screening and column cleaning. The BufferPrep Kit eliminates tedious manual buffer preparation and titration by allowing online buffer preparation from stock solutions.

The Sample Application Kit can manage varying sample volumes and also purify several different samples in the same run.

With the Air Sensor Kit, an entire sample can be loaded onto the column without the risk of air bubbles entering the system. An air sensor can be used in the buffer line to avoid pumping air onto the column when you run out of buffer.

The Column Screening Kit allows scientists to perform automated column and media screening. Use of a Reverse Flow Kit increases the concentration and recovery of target molecules after affinity chromatography.
