Diagnostic Instruments Spot digital microscopy cameras provide an easy-to-use, comprehensive camera/software package. They range from colour CMOS cameras for brightfield to high-end, deeply cooled EMCCD cameras for ultra low light fluorescence.

Spot Idea cameras deliver 1.3, 3 or 5 MP resolution in vivid colours, with Correct Color Technology to enhance publications, documentation and archiving of images. Easy to set up, these cameras deliver up to 12-bit image capture and high-speed read-outs.

The Flex range of cameras features high-resolution cameras with up to 64 MP capture (16 MP with true colour co-site sampling) and cooling -25 °C below ambient.

The RT/Pursuit/Explorer camera range offers the user a deeply cooled camera suitable for moderate to very dim fluorescence applications. The Slider camera version offers both high-quality colour with the capability for brightfield and a deeply cooled mono camera for low light fluorescence.

Every Spot camera is packaged with easy-to-use software that is fully compatible with both Mac and PC computers (including Vista). The software provides live image focusing, a focus meter, automatic white balancing, calibration, measurements, annotations, time-lapse imaging and an automatic report generator.
