Excelitas Technologies X-cite 120LEDBoost illumination system
The Excelitas Technologies X-cite 120LEDBoost LED illumination solution for fluorescence microscopy is said to deliver 40% more power than its predecessor for improved fluorophore excitation without compromise.
The product provides broad-spectrum excitation (370–700 nm) with high-powered optical output. It offers high optical power and good field uniformity at the specimen level with a broad spectrum of fluorescence illumination through manual, PC and TTL control.
The LEDs last for 25,000 h and no lamps or modules need replacing. Researchers are thus able to focus on their experiments instead of equipment maintenance.
