ICP sample introduction accessory

The Assist is an automated standalone accessory that is synchronised with the spectrometer and autosampler of an ICP-OES or ICP-MS instrument system. It consists of programmable dual syringe drives coordinated with an integrated valve system. The Assist delivers high levels of accuracy, stability and sample throughput by controlling the delivery of both sample and internal standard, eliminating the inaccuracies and pulsations caused by peristaltic pumps.

The Assist provides users with faster sample throughput as up to twice as many samples can be run per day. Precision is better through precise sample delivery and by elimination of pulsations from the peristaltic pump and accuracy is also improved through accurate delivery of both sample and internal standard.

The sample path is inert and there is reduced carryover — the sample does not contact any peristaltic pump tubing. The accessory has low sample and internal standard usage and offers flexibility in the selection of the ratio of sample to internal standard.

The Assist is compatible with almost all models of ICP-MS, ICP-OES and autosampler.
