The Jenoptik Gryphax 2.3MP Kapella microscope camera is engineered to be a high-performance imaging solution, designed to support demanding applications in life sciences, research and advanced microscopy.
Engineered for sensitivity and speed, the Kapella is designed to deliver exceptional performance in low-light environments, making it ideally suited for fluorescence imaging and live-cell analysis. Featuring a back-illuminated CMOS sensor with large pixel architecture, the system is designed to enable researchers to capture clear, high-contrast images, even under challenging conditions.
With frame rates of up to 120 frames per second and a 1/1.2″ Sony back-illuminated colour CMOS sensor with IR cut filter, the Kapella is designed to support real-time imaging of dynamic biological processes, including fast cellular events and microfluidic applications. Its global shutter design is engineered to support accurate capture of motion without distortion, designed to provide reliable data for time-sensitive experiments.
The Kapella is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing microscopy workflows via USB 3.0 connectivity and a standard C-mount interface. It is compatible with a wide range of operating systems and imaging platforms, including industry-standard software environments, enabling flexible deployment across laboratories.
Accompanied by the intuitive Gryphax software suite, it has been engineered to provide users with powerful tools for image acquisition, measurement, annotation and reporting — streamlining workflows from capture through to analysis.
