JEOL Cryogen Reclamation System for NMR
JEOL’s Cryogen Reclamation System offers a convenient and effective way to manage and maintain an NMR instrument’s cryogen levels. The product was jointly developed by JEOL, Japan Superconductor Technology and Ulvac Cryogenics, by combining the cutting-edge technologies of each company.
Lightweight and space-saving, the system can reduce evaporation of both liquid helium and liquid nitrogen that are inevitable as cryogen for the NMR instrument’s superconducting magnet. It should thus reduce the frequency and cost for refilling the cryogen and maximise the operation time of the NMR instruments, reducing the risk of stopping NMR instruments due to difficulty in obtaining liquid helium.
The product has been designed to reduce the vibration of the refrigerator and avoid affecting the quality of the spectrum. Attachment is possible to existing NMR instruments with the magnetic field maintained.
