LNI Schmidlin H2-Air-FID hydrogen and air generator

The H₂-Air-FID is a combined hydrogen and zero air generator which employs PEM membrane technology for electrolytic production of pure hydrogen gas. Only pure water, either distilled or de-ionised, is required to provide trouble-free, long-term operation.

No caustic solution is needed for the no-maintenance gas generator. The small contained volume (<40 mL) makes the product safe for operation in spaces where hydrogen cylinders are restricted.

The series produces laboratory-grade purified hydrogen and air for FID (flame ionisation detectors) and other detectors. The system will generate purified and hydrocarbon-free (<0.1 ppm) air and hydrogen. The air requires an external oil-free compressed air supply.

The station has been specially designed to aliment FIDs in hydrogen and air. Due to its small size, its no-maintenance drying system and its dual-gas generator, it is a suitable source of hydrogen and air fuel gas for gas chromatography with FIDs. With its low hydrocarbon contents, the product will provide stable base lines to any chromatograph.
