Phenomenex has introduced a range of Luna PFP(2) (pentafluorophenyl propyl) columns.
These bring together the advantages of Luna silica with the chemistry of a pentafluorophenyl for increased selectivity and reproducibility for difficult compounds.
Using multiple selectivity, including hydrogen bonding, dipole-dipole, aromatic and hydrophobic, these columns separate compounds that are highly polar, halogenated, isometric or aromatic.
The columns are suitable for pharmaceutical and natural products research and are useful in taxane analysis.
