Serstech ARX MK II handheld Raman spectrometer for chemical identification
The Serstech ARX MKII is a handheld Raman spectrometer designed to help field operators identify unknown substances quickly, easily and with precision. With one-hand and a single-button operation, the pocket-size device can be used for swift chemical identification in any scenario. It includes libraries for explosives, narcotics, chemical warfare agents, hazardous materials, pharmaceuticals and biotoxins (which are commonly needed by HAZMAT and CBRN teams).
Powered by state-of-the-art algorithms, the product reduces fluorescence in challenging substances, while its Deep Scan functionality identifies even small traces of chemical threats in complex mixtures. The ChemDash Mobile app enables the unit to connect wirelessly, allowing the user to send case reports in seconds. It is claimed to be the only handheld Raman device on the market that communicates on military networks via ATAK.
Training takes only a few hours, and user errors are minimised through intuitive interaction and built-in guidance. Night vision mode provides compatibility with most night-vision goggles. The unit also has a 12 h battery time.
