The Skalar BluVision discrete analyser is suitable for the automation of colorimetric applications. It is based on the company’s XYZ robotic platform. The analyser was developed to handle a variety of sample types and matrices.

The easy-to-use, low-maintenance, user-friendly instrument with good detection limits is suitable for applications including assaying alkalinity, Al, NH4+, B, Ca, Cl, Cr4+, CN-, hardness, Fe, Mg, NO2, PO42-, Si and SO4 - in drinking water; wastewater; ground water; surface water; seawater; soil extracts; and wine.

The company’s photometric detection system handles 38 twenty-position disposable cuvette racks. Each cuvette has a 1.5 cm optical path length which allows accurate low ppb level detection. The use of disposable cuvettes eliminates any carry-over between samples and reduced operator intervention.
