SPOT Idea Digital microscopy cameras

The SPOT Idea Digital Cameras are high-performance, value-packed, low-cost digital imaging systems for researchers, pathologists, scientists and engineers.

The cameras feature advanced CMOS sensor technology and a USB 2.0 plug-and-play interface for easy connection to laptop and desktop computers. The cameras are designed to deliver high-impact digital images for the serious scientist/microscopist in an easy-to-use, feature-rich camera/software package.

The cameras deliver 1.3, 3 or 5 megapixel resolution in vivid, lifelike colours enhanced by Correct Color Technology, which enhances publications, documentation and archiving of images. It is suitable for clinical (pathology, veterinary), life sciences, material science, metrology, educational and industrial applications.

Every camera is packaged with easy-to-use, yet powerful SPOT software that is fully compatible with Mac (including Intel processors) and PC (Windows including Vista). The software includes live image focusing, a focus meter, automatic white balancing, calibration, measurements, annotations, time-lapse imaging and an automatic report generator.
