Ultra-high performance LC system

Friday, 05 June, 2009 | Supplied by: Thermo Fisher Scientific

The Corona ultra UHPLC system is fully stackable with high sensitivity and flexibility. It is suitable for pharmaceutical development, QA/QC, life science and analytical chemistry applications. The system’s charged aerosol detection technology lets users see any non-volatile analyte, even those without a chromophore. It delivers high-speed analysis in a rugged and stackable frame that requires no additional bench space.

The detector can analyse a wide diversity of chemical structures and molecules from small organic molecules, proteins and peptides, to ions, carbohydrates, lipids and polymers.

Compatible with traditional HPLC, the system features a heated/cooled nebuliser that provides the flexibility to develop methods for various types of analytes, while providing precise nebulisation temperature control.

The system enables detection over four orders of magnitude and is claimed to detect impurities at \<0.05% concentration.
