Vögtlin Instruments red-y compact mass flow meter

Vögtlin Instruments’ red-y compact mass flow meter (MFM) is suitable for testing and verifying gas flows up to 450 l_n/min in industries like pharma, bio, analytical and more. Quality departments use the meter because of its portability (being lightweight and battery-powered), simplicity and flexibility.

The product’s embedded thermal MEMS sensor is insensitive to changes in pressure and temperature, transport vibrations and more. The MEMS technology thus enables long-term stability.

By default, the unit is powered by a 1.5 AA battery. In addition to the optional 24 V supply module or alarm module, Vögtlin also offers an analog and pulse output module for the digital mass flow meter.

The analog and pulse output module generates 4–20 mA and a pulse output signal, proportional to the measured gas flow rate; both can be configured by the user via the compact, integrated touch screen. The module is supplied with a 2 or 5 m cable.
