Teguar medical-grade computers launch in Australia
Industrial computer manufacturer Teguar Computers is opening an office in Australia. The Gold Coast-based office will provide tech support and sales services for New Zealand, Australia and Asia, joining the company’s European office in Switzerland and its American office in North Carolina.
Specialising in industrial and medical computers and tablets, Teguar has had a 134% growth rate over the past three years. Using rugged components, the company’s products are designed for maximum durability and built to withstand harsh environments in industries such as health care, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Teguar’s mission is to provide attractive yet highly functional all-in-one computer solutions that are specifically and carefully designed to perform in extreme environments such as cleanrooms, the outdoors, healthcare facilities, operating rooms, food processing plants and manufacturing floors. The company’s product options include fanless cooling systems; IP/NEMA water and dustproof ratings; antibacterial housing; UL/EN 60601 medical certifications; and compliance with MIL-STD-810G standards for shock and vibration protection.
