The Clonetics HUVEC-XL assay-ready human umbilical vein endothelial cells are primary HUVECs packaged at 10 million cells per vial that have been expanded to passage-3 and retain their endothelial properties as indicated by rigorous endothelial-specific QC testing.
Their features include: >80% of cells positive for Ace-LDL; >70% of cells positive for Factor VIIIRA; <5% α-SMA positive pericyte or smooth muscle cells are present; ≥90% CD31/CD105 double positive.
The endothelial growth medium EBM-2 is also available in 1 L bottles to accompany the larger cell vials and to accommodate large scale and HTS assays.
