Cosmo Bio Easy-Western primary antibody detection reagent for Western blots

Cosmo Bio has introduced Easy-Western (EZW), a primary antibody detection reagent kit for Western blots. The kit is based on multi-antibody detection (MAD) technology.

The MAD reagent consists of nano-size protein particles with high affinity to Fc regions of antibodies. Each particle is composed of approximately 100 antibody-binding proteins and is labelled with 50 HRP molecules. Because of these properties, the reagent allows for high sensitivity and quick detection of primary antibodies.

The kit is suitable for high-sensitivity, signal enhancement and simultaneous detection of multi-antigens that is not possible with standard Western blot techniques. There is no need for a secondary antibody as the MAD reagent can detect most primary antibodies.

The product has a higher signal for weakly expressed antigens and the signal can be enhanced by easy re-probing, so there’s no stripping of the membrane. The signal is also improved while using less primary antibodies.
