Clonetics NHA-normal human astrocytes are useful for experimental applications in neurogenesis research, cell physiology, injury, astrocyte-mediated neurotoxicity, drug development, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.

The cells test positive for GFAP and are generally in satellite form. Cells are guaranteed through 10 population doublings when using Clonetics media and reagents.

Cryopreserved NHA are shipped as frozen primary-derived cultures.
