Lonza Clonetics prostate smooth muscle cells
The Clonetics prostate smooth muscle cell system includes normal human prostate smooth muscle cells (PrSMC) and optimised growth medium.
Routine characterisation of PrSMC includes immunofluorescent staining positive for smooth muscle a-actin and negative for von Willebrand (Factor VIII) antigen.
Cryopreserved PrSMC are shipped in second or third passage. Users can generate PrSMC cultures for experimental applications in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostitis and prostate cancer.
Clonetics PrEC-human prostate epithelial and PrSC-human stromal cell systems are also available.
