Poietics ECFCs human endothelial colony forming cells

Poietics ECFCs human endothelial colony-forming cells are a unique population of highly proliferative cells isolated from human umbilical cord blood that demonstrate endothelial behaviour in culture.

Cells have been clonally expanded from an endothelial progenitor cell population based on their clonogenic and proliferative potential.

Useful for research into endothelial cell metabolism, physiology, pharmacology and blood vessel formation in culture, angiogenic therapies and cardiovascular diseases.

The cells have a purity of 95% CD31+, post-thaw viability 90% and blood vessel formation in culture and normal karyotype analysis. Test negative for HIV1/II, Hepatitis B/C and HTLV I/II viruses

Recommend culture in Poietics EGM-2 Endothelial Cell Growth Medium-2 plus an additional ECFC Serum Supplement.
