ProFreeze non-animal origin, chemically defined freeze medium

ProFreeze serum-free freezing medium has been specifically formulated for cryopreserving cells that have been propagated in serum-free media.

The protein-free, non-animal component medium contains no natural animal proteins and maintains high cell viability upon recovery from frozen storage.

ProFreeze requires the addition of 15% reagent/spectrophotometric-grade DMSO at the time of use.

One bottle will make 117.6 mL of complete 2X concentrated freezing medium after the addition of 17.6 mL DMSO.

The medium should be stored at 2-8°C.
