Friday, 08 April, 2011 | Supplied by: 3M Food Safety

3M Clean-Trace Surface and Water ATP tests can be used to help assess standards of hygiene and cleaning procedures by measuring the amount of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in a sample. The systems indicates overall biological contamination including microbiological and product residues for a fuller picture of the hygienic status of equipment.

The protein tests monitor biological contamination in real time and feature simple, visual reading of colour change and interpretation of results while the ATP systems monitor the presence of ATP. The Clean-Trace Data Trending Software is designed to complement ATP testing. It allows easy identification of problem areas to help drive continuous improvement.
