AFfirm Mouse Monoclonal Antibodies, manufactured by Affinity Biosciences and generated from specific peptide antigens, exhibit high antibody specificity and good stability between batches.

In contrast to the time-consuming and laborious determination of antibody epitopes, the monoclonal antibodies are created with a clear epitope recognition. The location of the recognised protein is well defined and the homology prediction for antibody recognition epitope and target protein is said to be more informative.

Based on flow-sorting technology, users can screen monoclonal cell lines with the highest affinity for the AFfirm family of monoclonal antibodies. This can be 10–50 times higher than traditional mouse monoclonal antibodies (dilution 1:10,000, 10 s), the company claims. The R&D cycle for antibodies is also said to have been shortened.

Endogenous WB has been used as the qualification criteria for the monoclonal antibodies. Compared to overexpressed and recombinant protein samples, endogenous detection is considered the best standard, the company says.
