Bio-Rad Laboratories SsoFast probes supermix
Bio-Rad Laboratories has released SsoFast probes supermix, a reagent which enables researchers using fluorogenic probes to enhance the speed, reliability and sensitivity of their qPCR experiments.
By combining Sso7d fusion polymerase with an optimised buffer formulation, the SsoFast probes supermix yields duplex qPCR results in about 30 min.
The reagent maintains a range of detection, reliability and accurate quantification and is significantly more resistant to PCR inhibitors, making it a suitable choice for demanding qPCR applications.
Researchers can incorporate the reagent in PCR experiments. It is compatible with universal cycling conditions and has a wide range of primer/probe concentrations without requiring additional optimisation. It can also be used on both fast and standard cycling instruments without protocol changes.
