Biosensis offers alpha-synuclein antibodies to support advancement in neuroscience and neurodegenerative disease research. Designed for precise recognition of full-length human and rodent α-synuclein, the antibodies exhibit null cross-reactivity with beta or gamma synuclein and are able to identify endogenous α-synuclein in human plasma.
They show high affinity for human α-synuclein, including A30P or A53T Parkinson’s associated mutations, thus extending applicability in Parkinson’s disease studies. They are also said to enhance significance in the domain of Alzheimer’s disease research.
