The Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP-102) Exploration Kit from Cayman Chemical is intended to serve as a starting point for laboratories to explore the feasibility of using LNPs for their individual application without the need for specialised equipment. Optimal preparation conditions for the encapsulation of oligonucleotides with LNPs must be determined by the end user.
Featuring conveniently packaged reagents for preparing LNPs, the kit includes SM-102, 1,2-DSPC, cholesterol and DMG-PEG(2000). It may be used for the encapsulation of mRNA or siRNA cargo, with adaptable protocols suitable for a range of specialised-to-basic equipment.
