AMCELGROW Medium from ID Labs is optimised for the primary in vitro culture of human amniotic fluid cells and chorionic villi (CV) samples in open (5% CO₂) systems. These primary cultures can then be used for such cytogenetic procedures as karyotyping and FISH.

No addition of serum is required and fetal karyotyping time is greatly reduced, compared with the use of conventional medium. AMCELGROW is a one bottle formulation which contains L-Glutamine and antibiotics, helping to reduce the chance of contamination or technical error.

Also available from ID Labs, Karyotyping Medium-HC, developed for use in stimulating proliferation of human hematopoietic cells from both peripheral blood and bone marrow. Used to induce high mitotic index in growth of abnormal cells for karyotyping and chromosome evaluation. The media is supplemented with L-Glutamine, antibiotics and conditioned medium.
