GeneTex carrier-free antibodies

Carrier-free antibodies are formulated without common carrier proteins or preservatives that may interfere with antibody labelling, multiplex detection or functional assays. These formulations provide researchers with good flexibility for conjugation, buffer optimisation and customised assay development. Whether the user is developing a multiplex imaging panel, preparing directly conjugated antibodies or optimising a cell-based or bead-based assay, carrier-free antibodies can help reduce formulation-related interference and support a more controlled experimental design.

GeneTex’s carrier-fee antibodies are BSA-, sodium azide- and glycerol-free, featuring diverse conjugate compatibility, a purified IgG format and application-validated clones. They are conjugation-ready, making them suitable for labelling with fluorophores, enzymes, oligonucleotides, metals, nanoparticles or other tags. The antibodies also offer assay flexibility, allowing researchers to optimise antibody concentration, buffer and detection strategy for their workflow.

With their reduced formulation interference, the antibodies avoid additives that may affect labelling efficiency, live-cell assays or specialised detection platforms. They are useful for advanced applications, supporting multiplex ICC/IHC, flow cytometry, imaging mass cytometry, ELISA development and functional assays.

GeneTex’s carrier-free antibodies for conjugation and functional assays are distributed by Sapphire Bioscience in Australia and New Zealand.
