Acqua Stain is a single-step premixed water-based protein gel dye that does not require pre- or post-treatment of the gel. Non-toxic, it contains no harmful chemicals or acids, so it’s safer than standard dyes.
Sensitive and fast staining is achieved in one step and other advantages include: can be disposed of down the sink; no observable shrinkage or wrinkling of gels; proteins isolated from treated gels are 100% compatible with mass spectrometry analysis.
