Glassware washer/disinfector range

The Smeg laboratory glassware washer range features six models, including the GW3050 (featuring 20 standard programs and 10 custom programs).

All models can be adapted to suit the user's laboratory glassware cleaning needs. The range features AISI 304 stainless steel external construction, providing a neat sanitary enclosure as well as a higher grade of stainless AISI 316L for the inner wash chamber.

Cleaning glassware quickly and efficiently to the standards required is guaranteed by several innovations, according to the company. Firstly, a robust high volume re-circulating pump ensures a much higher flow-rate than standard washers, effectively removing even the worst contamination. In combination with quick and efficient heating (up to 95°C), glassware comes out clean every time.

Secondly, dosing of cleaning agents is delivered by twin peristaltic pumps, removing the need for the addition of messy powders. This standard feature on all the Smeg washers improves safety and also improves cleaning, giving exact metering of the chemistry required for cleaning.

Thirdly, fan forced heated air can be delivered to the glassware via a 1800 W heater, providing effective drying to all types of glassware. This can be fitted to the GW3050 model at the rear, adding 70 mm to the depth of this machine, while providing fully functioning cleaning, rinsing and drying.

Finally, racks and trolleys are available to suit all types of glassware, from beakers to quick-fit equipment. The staff at Gallay will assist with the appropriate selection of racking and supports for individual requirements.

From industrial applications, to research labs and to school prep facilities, the Smeg range has a model to suit the user's budget and washing needs.
